Opening for prospective graduate Students

There is no immediate opening for graduate students. However, students with a very keen interest in Structural Biology research may contact PI directly at ajit@bic.boseinst.ernet.in for any openings in the near future. It is also expected for a prospective student to have chemistry/Physics and/or mathematics in their undergraduate studies.

Opening for Postdocs

Prospective postdoctoral fellows are expected to be well-versed with cloning, protein purification and other biochemical techniques and are enthusiastic about learning macromolecular X-ray crystallography. Fellows are also expected to apply for independent funding from different agencies like CSIR, DBT etc.

Project Assistantship/Summer training/Coursework training

There is no possibility of a Project Assistant position at this moment.
For summer training Bose Institute uses a centralized procedure and is advertised in the Institute Web-page (Advertisements section). Prospective trainees are requested to apply against that advertisement. They may also express their interest to do the training in our lab by writing directly to PI. However, please note that NO STUDENT CAN BE ACCEPTED for training unless they are selected through the centralized system.
We also do not have an immediate opening for any M.Sc./M.Tech. project
