 Specific
goals and objectives of the Department
Research programmes in Animal Physiology are directed to understand
the basic physiological mechanisms involved in various life processes
of the animals. Efforts are being made for application of modern technologies
to improve the variety as well as the productivity of economically
important animals in relation to socio-economic development and human
culture. Scopes for research also remain open for evaluation of different
conditions related to human health and disease.
